Important change to foreign currency cheques and international cheques processing
After June 30, 2026, HSBC Bank Bermuda Limited will no longer accept foreign currency cheques and international cheques. All foreign currency cheques and international cheques deposited after 30th June 2026 will be rejected.
If you currently receive payments via foreign currency cheque or international cheques drawn on a foreign bank, please ask the sender to send future payments as an international priority (i.e. Wire) payment after 30th June 2026. To do this, they will need your HSBC Bermuda account details, inclusive of the HSBC Bermuda Swift Code. These are available on the HSBC Website, or on your paper statements.
Increase in Business Credit Card Fraud
There has been a recent increase in fraudulent activity attempts affecting business and corporate credit cards.

Please regularly review your card transactions via HSBCnet and your paper card statements, to identify any suspicious activity or errors.
If you see unauthorized transactions, you should cancel any relevant active cards immediately, by contacting the Card Service Team on 441 299 5518 or the toll-free number on the back of the card
